Mr. Obama wants to gut the military, raise taxes, talk with those that want the total destruction of Israel and America, eliminate our missile defense system, until recently supported partial birth abortion, a hideous procedure of sucking the brains of a baby out of its scull before it is totally delivered, by changing his mind on this procedure he has offended many of his supporters in planned parenthood after all money is at stake. Why is Mr. Obama your messiah? Change for change sake is not always good for you, a flat tire is change do you want change? How many would want us to talk with Hitler, I think we did that and look what happened, would Mr. Obama make the same mistake? Are you willing to stake your life on his decision to negotiate with those from foreign countries that want him to be elected, all the Osamas of the world. Remember he was against the military serge and now that it worked he can visit Iraq in safety. He can’t take his teleprompter with him everywhere. Why do the Democrats stop us from drilling oil and stop the transfer of wealth to the east. The Democrats have control of both houses and we are at 4.50 per gallon fuel. The Democrats approval rating is the lowest in history even Jimmy Carter had a better approval rating and that wasn’t saying much, and I voted for him I am sorry to say. We don’t need a another Carter in Mr. Obama, Mr. Carter talked with Hezbollah, he came back with nothing.
Please help me understand what Mr. Obama is going to do for this country not do to this country.

“Mr. Obama wants to gut the military”

    Source for this?

“talk with those that want the total destruction of Israel and America”

Basic diplomacy is not a weakness. I’m perplexed why Israel and America are always mentioned together like this; I’m not an Israeli citizen and its affairs are not mine. No country categorically wants the US destroyed, although several want it to alter its foreign policy objectives, for reasons good or bad.

    “eliminate our missile defense system”

Which pretty much every reliable expert agrees is seriously flawed at best and probably implausible.

“Why is Mr. Obama your messiah?”

    Who said anything about messiah?

“How many would want us to talk with Hitler, I think we did that and look what happened, would Mr. Obama make the same mistake? ”

Who is Hitler in your world view here exactly? And do you actually KNOW anything about European history previous to WWII, or are you just another rightie who heard Chamberlain’s name on Fox News a few times? And for the record, the right overwhelmingly favored staying out of World War Two with few exceptions, and the war was won by liberal democrat FDR.

“Are you willing to stake your life on his decision to negotiate with those from foreign countries that want him to be elected”

Are you willing to stake your life on McCain’s belligerent confrontationalism?

“The Democrats have control of both houses and we are at 4.50 per gallon fuel. ”

Curiously, I remember gas prices going up before the election. Hmm, yeah, the executive branch had nothing to do with it, even though it has ties to big oil deeper than its ties to the Saudis.

Do you have any opinions that aren’t just tired right wing talking points?

    Thanks PSW, well put!

I forgot all about approving Earl’s comments elsewhere, and I see he’s gone off on his religious rants here.

Everything you said is right on, I’ll just add this small detail about Congress.

Senate is at 49/49 1 & 1. repubs/dems, indy & the Lieberman effect, hence nothing gets done there.

On the House side, the poor little spoiled brat republicans are no longer in control, and just like when they were in control if everything is not their way they throw little temper tantrums like the babies they are and threaten to go [Nuclur]. It is amazing how fast a Repugnant can tear up over Big Oil when they are holding things up and they are not getting exactly what they want. Boo-Hoo Boener (sp?) cry me a river!

Where was McCain when he was supposed to be voting for the GI “Education Bill”? Oh right, fund raising with BIG MONEY interests in California!

    thanks for stopping by PSW
